An article in the Wall Street Journal purports to define regional "personalities" by
ranking the inhabitants of each of the 50 U.S. states for the qualities of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness.
Minnesota ranks #2 for agreeableness and #5 for extraversion. Wisconsin is #2 for extraversion and #5 for agreeableness. Both rank in the middle for conscientiousness, and low for the other two traits.
