Hiatus

Taking a break from blogging in order to attend to some garden chores.  When I return we may talk about hardwood mulch.

It's a slow season at work! Guess I'll have to actually, you know...do some work?

  2. You need a coal shovel!

    1. Not really. A coal shovel is too big. Six scoops with the standard shovel fills the kitchen garbage bag with 15# of mulch, which is enough to lift, but not so big as to burst the bag when I throw it down the hill.

    2. umm... you really want a square shovel for that kind of material. smaller than a coal scoop shovel, but holds more than your pointy end shovel

p.s. square shovels are excellent for snow shoveling, especially when you have a lotta snow. mine is maybe 30 years old, or more, there is a hole worn out in the base, but is is great!

      I-)
