Hi there! I recently took a picture in Zambia of a similar looking 'cage fungus' to this one, but not exactly. It is bright yellow and more 'smooth' and transparent looking. I cannot find anything close to this on the internet. Do you perhaps have more info on it?

I personally don't have any additional information. Your best chance for an identification would be to submit the photo to a university department.
