It's interesting that you should say that, because the when I watched it, I also thought it was fake, in that it would be unusual for someone to slide down stairs in that fashion.

I'd like it to be real, but my guess is that it's a fake. The reason I think that is that the heckler stays within the frame at all times, never getting cut off at the left edge of the picture, nor getting totally obscured behind the speaker. In fact, you can see the speaker move over slightly, almost as if he wants to make room, as soon as the heckler starts doing his bit.
I watched this back a couple of times, and the fall looks staged. Still funny though.

I call fake. He leaps up the stairs (presumably to catch up with his mate), then pauses on one step to prepare himself for the fall.
