When I saw this headline (and other versions of it on other news sites), I went ballistic. I'm an old English major with an enormous vocabulary, but even with those credentials I don't think if I spent all day I could find enough words to express how deeply I despise this utter catastrophe of a president.
Fortunately I have something saved up, copied from Facebook several weeks ago. I didn't post it here because I do try to keep the conversation civil, but now the gloves are off. And anyone who comments on this post expressing support for Trump will get a perma-ban.
Heck, I might as well add this -
I always thought he was Netanyahu's bitch, but maybe Putin is more likely.

In America, the police can burst into your house in the middle of the night without identifying themselves then kill you or your loved ones - murdered for having done nothing. And when it turns out the police had the wrong address, nobody will be punished for it nor policies changed. But the "people" at the highest levels of government commit heinous crimes like theft, rape and treason, they get rewarded. Because that's the way we roll, quite often, in the land of the free.

I must say I found angry Stan kind of jarring at first read, but I kind of like him.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about the Kornetzke piece and had a little spidey sense moment that caused me to look him up. Sometimes things are a little TOO on point with my personal view. While I agree whole heartedly at the commentary, it's difficult to find any original source info for it and I fear it might be a fabrication.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, Facebook is a cesspool like so much of social media these days. I always try to find the original, or at least a secondary, source when I can.
You're not the only one who doubted it. This article calls the entry a "masterclass of AI slop." =

AFAICT, the best thing tRump has ever done was to inspire you to post that amazing picture.

ReplyDelete"Trump stated in a 2002 New York Magazine interview that he had known Epstein for 15 years, placing their initial acquaintance around 1987,..."
I've always wondered what Russia/Putin has on him. Because his foreign policies always align with whatever Russia wants. And it's weird, because the man knows no loyalty. Except to Putin. It must be something very very strong.
ReplyDeleteA common speculation (and it's only that) is that his amorous adventures as a youthful multimillionaire led him into a honeytrap (perhaps with video documentation) set up either secretly by a government or openly in conjunction with Epstein.
