An unarmed human wouldn't stand a chance against one of those robots. Even armed (axe, baseball bat, shovel) would be at a disadvantage. A bunch of them coordinated to work together like the drones are... fuhgeddaboudit. xoxoxoBruce
Damaging or disabling a sensor (with your axe, baseball bat, shovel) could put the robot at a disadvantage. The 'damaging' could be with shaving cream, spray paint, a thick tablecloth or blanket, etc.
Look at all those exposed tubes and wires. You could probably dislodge at least some of those with your bare hands, and it doesn't have the dexterity, speed, or response time to fend you off. It could be a problem if it corners you and limits your movement. Other than that, these things would require serious hardening to become viable combat bots. Our versatility continues to be our greatest asset.
I worked on scaffolding. That's all I need - a robot throwing around heavy tool bags and pushing things off the scaffolding.

Tangle up their feet, so they fall down (a la Star Wars)? Even down, their weapons might still be able to fire?

DeleteThat's hard to do when from a standing start the thing can jump over or on you quick as a cat and has the nerve of a Honey Badger.
