This was a great show and her character was fantastic. I liked her on Ted Lasso as well and what a completely different character from that! Truly a great actor! Looking forward to see what she does next!
For me it was when everything seemed to be wrapped up and I checked to see that there was still 20 minutes to go. Had me on tenterhooks right up until that ending. To be fair though, Hamm was incredible as well. I had a hard time watching the show at times because I hated his character so much.
100%! She's great. I watched the first episode three times. So dynamic and was fun to watch her the whole season. Sam Spruell as mysterious drifter Ole Munch was wow, wow, wow. I hated Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance at first, but then my opinion turned in the episode when she sits down with the bankers at lunch and hands them both their asses. I have a Gen Z friend who thought JJ Leigh was a no-name actress with no experience, because she thought Leigh sucked that badly. Dave Foley rarely misses, if ever.
I was nonplussed by Hamm. But I've never been a fan.
The star here is definitely Noah Hawley for landing these amazing homages to the original movie. A+ A+ A+. And, Jeff Russo, the guy who bangs the drums deserves a rousing round of applause.

ReplyDeleteA great character but that ending! For every victim of abuse - you are worthy of love. Wow, just wow.
ReplyDeleteJuno Temple is the main reason I’m loving this season of Fargo. What a performance!
