"Director François Ozon’s elegiac tale of love and remembrance is set in a small German town in the aftermath of World War I, where a young woman mourning the death of her fiancé forms a bond with a mysterious Frenchman who has arrived to lay flowers on her beloved’s grave."I watched this movie tonight and can unreservedly recommend it. The pacing is slow at first as the characters are introduced, but the movie is beautifully filmed and well worth watching.
