@ Anonymous: What kind of Trump-inspired nonsense are you spouting? Have you ever even been to Canada, let alone done any research about our healthcare system? I know plenty of people who have been very sick indeed, and received excellent care. Sounds like you're so stuck in your head-in-the-sand, my-country-right-or-wrong foolishness you aren't even willing to investigate the possibility that someone else might have a better idea than 'Murica. How's that bankrupting yourself to pay for your healthcare coming along?
Oh, yes - that neighbor, he lives out in the country, maybe 35 km from town. When he had some internal bleeding, they were told that the ambulance would not come to the, and to drive themselves to hospital.
That sounds like what Canada is like - if you get really sick, well, too bad.

ReplyDeleteMy neighbor, in his 70s, has prostate cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. The soonest biopsy can be done in three months.
DeleteMy uncle, in his late 70s, tore a muscle in his shoulder. he was told there was nothing that could be done for him.
This is in Quebec. Maybe your province is better.

DeleteAgain, that is Quebec.
