I knew about Banned Books Week (ALA in October) and Picture Book Month (November), so looked up the one you asked about May 4-10, 2015 Children’s Book Week is the annual celebration of children’s books and reading. Established in 1919, it is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. The program is administered by Every Child a Reader (ECAR) and the Children’s Book Council (CBC) is a proud sponsor.
'Tis the month to write a novel. Or grow a mustache. Both is possible.
