Reminds me of a child pulling a blanket over his/her head and saying "now you can't see me." But perhaps there was more burying not included in this video clip.
If you watch another clip, it appears as though the spider's legs are not accidentally exposed - the spider appears to be baiting potential prey with its appendages and using its setae to detect when prey takes the bait.
I can't believe I actually thought that was cute.
