300,000 peeps put to death
Found at English Russia, where this incident in the Kursk region was blamed on delinquent taxes and a convoluted bureaucracy. "The employees are putting to death one-day old chickens with tears. “It’s as if a mother killed her child”, – poultry-women explain their feelings."
Speaking of 'crash blossoms' as you did shortly after posting this; here's one. "The employees are putting to death one-day old chickens with tears." I guess that they are drowning the cute little things.
If only they WERE kindly "put to death". Instead they were left to die pretty horrible deaths. The ones freezing outside may be the lucky ones, compared with the ones left inside to starve in cages.
Steph, I forgot to put in the English Russia link (fixed, thanx), where the manager is quoted as saying -
“Then we made the extreme move – there’s nothing to feed the poultry with and not to let it die in torments we have to utilize it according to the rules currently in force”

ReplyDeleteThat being said, "Good one, bigjohn756!"
i don't understand WHY they're killing them. Did the place get shut down because of lack of money?
