"Libertarians make bad lifeguards"
In the past I've expressed support for various libertarian viewpoints (not all of them), but I got a good laugh out of this cartoon posted at The Frustrated Teacher.
The premise is inaccurate because a not believing the government should be the lifeguard is quite different than not believing their should be a lifeguard at all - it is a common misconception. A socialist lifeguard on the other hand would make sure all swimmers are as good(or bad) as the worst swimmer - leading to your picture.
