Cedar-apple rust gall
Very cool-looking. We have cedars around the house, so I'll keep my eye out for some of this. Extensive discussion of the condition at Cornell University's plant clinic. This photo via moqo-moqo.

Thank you. My wife and I found this on one of our cedars this weekend but haven't put the energy in to key it out yet.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I read this (and showed it to the wife) we went out and pruned these off of the cedar and into a zip-lock bag.
