It is a synthetic hormone which stimulates the body's production of melanin, a substance that gives the skin its colour. Experts are worried that the long-term effects are not yet known."

These fellas didn't use melanotan peptides to turn themselves this strange color. It's obvious that they used some sort of a DHA tanner due to the painted on appearance they have (particularly the one on the left with the unpainted white strip at his hair line).
