Throwing dough around

  1. I wonder if there's a reason he pounds the counter twice with his rolling pin between in each throw. It doesn't really seem like a signal. Strange habit?

  2. I think he taps twice to keep a rythm. He seems to focused and in automatic mode.

  3. I wondered if it started off as a way to dislodge any dough stuck to the rolling pin. Or perhaps it makes the show more interesting for diners/visitors.
