the US government has untrained goons with paramilitary armament murder citizens, snatching them off the streets, jail (and transfer) them illegaly, and the agency in question keeps violating court orders to adhere to the law en masse. said agency is also briefing its goons to explicitly violate what your oh-so-sacred constitution grants to all people.
The problem is that y'all talk about kings as they were in the 18th century. You consistently that European monarchs have about as much power as the First Lady in the US. That is to say they have a little bit of soft power because they are, by the very nature of their job, close to power.
Also, I've seen a lot of comments that POTUS would love to live like Charles or other (European) Kings. I guarantee he would not survive a week. While they live very nice lives, they do work quite hard. Charles did more than 500 public events in 2025. And that's aside from his non-public duties.
BTW Charles displayed exactly why modern monarch can have a good role. Check his dinner speech and address to Congress. That message he delivered could not have been delivered by a president or other politician. The same goes for the Dutch King a few weeks ago. So much screaming between very politely delivered seemingly self-deprecating lines. They both are very good at their job. Compare their speeches to the interview that the Belgian minister of Defense yesterday gave to CNN, saying the exact same thing, but as a politician.
King C 3 is a class act; the dump is just an ass.
