Unlike most readers, I look at the picture first and then read the posting. My reaction on seeing the photo was "What an interesting layout of giraffes! Is that some graphics exercise? From a children's book? The interlocked necks and legs make such an interesting pattern. Giraffes basking - you never see that in real life.". Then I read the posting, which spoiled my be-wonderment.
I noticed that and assumed it was displaced by scavengers from the "white" giraffe which seems to have only 3, or the one above it (same).
