Sung by Johnny Mathis and Jane Olivor as soundtrack for the movie
Same Time Next Year. I enjoyed watching the movie this week and wanted to post the song, but all I could find was this dreadfully dark version. In the movie itself, the song was entertainingly backed by interesting still photos of current events happening between the acts of the play.
One of my all time favorite movies, and that song always puts a lump in my throat ~ TFS
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was a good movie, but this video looks like a Taster's choice moment commercial ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, "Anonymous", the video provided is poor, but there are other, far better copies available, if you're interested. This is one of the most romantic contemporary movies ever made in the United States. Next time you're near Ft. Bragg/Mendocino, CA, check out the "Heritage House Inn", nee "The Sea Shadows Inn.", where the film was filmed. It also helps if you're old enough to have lived the movie's script, too.
