On Friday, 08/08/08, a baby was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She was born at 0808, and when weighed was found to be 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

I suppose I'm old and cynical to think that perhaps the delivery room team and the birthing suite staff may have fudged the numbers just a wee bit; nobody is hurt by such peccadillos (if they happened), and it makes for a good story, so I should stop being a curmudgeon. And it affords an opportunity to learn some things about eight.
