The house of Antique Hardware looks like a great way to insure your heirs inherit no money, nice place to live but no cash. In the comments there and Amazon a couple people complained the brass is very thin. That’s a good thing, believe me, if you have stairs with a dozen or so steps where the treads, risers, and skirt boards are exactly 90° from each other you’re in God’s own house. Being thin brass they will conform to variations in the corner shape. xoxoxoBruce
The Antique Hardware house appears to be a good option for ensuring your descendants receive a valuable home but no inheritance. There were a few individuals in the comments on Amazon who expressed displeasure with how thin the brass is. Believe me, it's a positive situation to be in if you have stairs with about twelve steps and all the components are perfectly aligned at 90° angles - it's like being in a perfect place. Because they are made of thin brass, they will adjust to different corner shapes.
