And now I'm off learning more about the Polygon Tundra in the Lena Delta! I will note that it has looked like this in the summer for some time, as far as I can tell. Found some Flickr photos from 2012 that are almost identical; but the images don't reflect what is happening in terms of the gasses being release, of course.
Our great life giver Ra (known as Sol in some areas) has decided to warm our planet up some, melting the permafrost and allowing the Beasts of Olde to come alive again.
They will roam this planet and cleanse us of all the evil doers (Trump mainly, but a few others as well) and when they have done their work, they will return to their cold beds and the planet will be allowed to cool back a bit, so all this talk of my car causing all the problems can be stopped, once and for all time.
Evolution is not extinction free... or is it the other way around?
