  1. Confidence - throwing the ball and not looking to see if it swooshed in (it does).

  2. How does making 35, 3 point baskets make 37 points?

  3. Her college career--Go Ducks!--was outstanding. Leads both women AND men in triple triples. She was a blast to watch. Worried her ankle injury in 1st yr as a pro would slow her down, but obvs not!

  4. OK, the scoreboard on the wall was increasing by 1 each time she sunk a basket and stopped at 35.

  5. She made 20 out of 22. 20 x 3 pointers in 60. As a matter of fact 37 is not a multiple of 3. Regardless of money balls it doesn't make sense.
    I'm done, sorry. xoxoxoBruce

    1. Bruce, you have a long comment history here without any evidence of being a troll, so I'll interpret your dismay as being real and will offer a proper explanation.

This video is not of a basketball game, where shots from this distance count three points. This is a "skills competition" conducted perhaps during the halftie of an all-star game or at some fundraising event. The competitors shoot from the three-point distance on a court in a timed event. They shoot from different areas (corner, point, top of the key) and get various points for each completed shot. I don't know the exact scoring rules; perhaps Mr. Google has it recorded somewhere. Forget the score. Appreciate the athletic ability to complete such a high percentage of shots from that distance.

And I hope I didn't fall victim to this -

    3. I don't get it. Is it fake/prank/dead? What is the point?

  6. Since it’s not a game but a WNBA skills competition between the best of all the WNBA teams, my assumptions as to how they score from the 3-point distance is moot. The bottom line is it’s an amazing performance I should appreciate rather than taking your time to try to alleviate my scoring confusion.
    I apologize for that.

  7. Scoring seems to look like this.
    Each rack contains 5 balls.
The last ball of each rack has a value of 2 points. All other balls have a value of 1. Except for the "Money ball rack" in which all balls have a value of 2.
In between some of the racks there's a single "Starry ball". This one seems to have a value of 3.
    The max score for making all shots would be 40. (4 normal racks of 6 points = 24) + (1 Money ball rack = 10) + (2 Starry balls of 3 points = 6).
    She misses 2 balls in total. 1 1-pointer and 1 2-pointer.

    In short... IMPRESSIVE!
