The downside of a tungsten wedding ring

The result of dropping it on the floor.  Tungsten carbide is difficult to cut, but brittle on impact.  (the distracting rust spots on the floor in the photo are irrelevant)

  2. What if the rust spots are dried blood and the back story is so far untold ?

  4. I had a tungsten, but not tungsten carbide, and it withstood an engine block landing on it without my hand taking serious energy. Hated having to remove that ring.

  5. I have a friend who works in the jewelry industry. She tells me they design weak spots into every ring so it can be removed in an emergency. The result is you get to keep your finger. Most jewelry stores offer lifetime replacements if it breaks. It's a simple procedure.
