  1. when i went to school, it was to learn, not to audition for a reality show.

  2. You didn't have any "fun" activities at school? I feel for you.
Even 30 years ago, we had a Halloween parade and dress up day. Also had "spirit" week, which i believe crazy hair day is likely part of.

    1. we had 'fun' activities, but it wasn't through making spectacles of ourselves.

  3. These are Aussie kids I think – good ol' Kirk's Creaming Soda. Crazy Hair Day raises awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis: http://www.cysticfibrosis.org.au/vic/crazy-hair-day

Perhaps looking silly or different is a good lesson in not setting too much store in how you look, at the same time as encouraging imagination and a sense of fun and lightheartedness – while raising funds for a good cause.

People who show up at fancy dress events, not in fancy dress, are really the ones making a spectacle of themselves.

  4. I like the added 'soda bottle hair' photo - great idea, fantastic smile, nicely composed - great all around!
