For your eyes only

Proving once again that this blog is a hobby of one person, I'm going to have to take another week for a "blogcation" to do Easter things today, then income tax paperwork, spring garage cleaning, and yard/garden work.

During this downtime, I'm going to continue the now-tradition here of giving readers an opportunity to promote their own blogs.  To see what the result will look like, see last year's post: 59 blogs authored by TWYKIWDBI readers.

I started doing this in 2009 as "Small Blog Appreciation Day," but quickly realized that many of your blogs are larger and older than mine.  In 2009 there were 18 blogs in the list, last year 59.  It'll be interesting to see how many get listed this year.  The process is simple: write in the comment section of this post...

• your blog's name,
• its url, and
• summarize its purpose and content in a few sentences. 

You can make the url clickable if you know how, but that's not required.   If your blog has NSFW material, that's o.k., but you need to say so in the summary.  I will visit the blog to confirm the description, and may modify (shorten) your summary or add my own thoughts.

This next part is important, and I'll quote from last year's guidelines:

This project has to be limited to TYWKIWDBI readers, for obvious reasons.  I'm expecting to get a few dozen replies, but I can't accommodate the great unwashed public of a million bloggers out there, so please don't mention this promotion on your blog unless you want to do so after the list has been compiled and published. 

And for this same reason, I will need some confirmation that you are a participant here.  If you are a regular or occasional commenter, I will recognize your name (for this event, saying that your are "anonymous" won't hack it).  Alternatively, if you have linked to TYWKWDBI (ever) or have TYWKIWDBI in your blogroll in a sidebar, that would be sufficient.

If you think I won't recognize you, or if you are typically a "lurker" and your link to TYWKIWDBI was long ago, you might mention it in your summary.

I'll probably compile the list some time after April 15, to allow the once-a-week readers time to spot this and participate if they want to, but the sooner you add your info to the Comments, the sooner people might get curious and visit you.
