But surely, we could build to better withstand its edges?soubriquethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01151288534629885195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-25775339397279551122011-05-01T05:31:51.279-05:002011-05-01T05:31:51.279-05:00This is exactly what parts of Oklahoma City and su...This is exactly what parts of Oklahoma City and surrounding areas looked like in 1999. I'm not sure if the scale of the damage is the same, but the pictures sure remind me of that time. I saw areas that had grown during my lifetime completely wiped flat in that storm.mamafroghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13215031912797290210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-48838588921193744302011-04-29T10:35:11.713-05:002011-04-29T10:35:11.713-05:00Terrifying. (Well, it's going to make me actually take all those disaster preparedness steps that people talk about. Where I live, that means earthquakes. I'll take them over tornadoes any day!)Mel V.noreply@blogger.com
