I also like to mix a little bit into the soil itself above the bulbs so that as they dig they get a noseful of irritating pepper. Hope this works for you!
(According to websites I've checked, the pepper shouldn't hurt the bulbs. But if they're for consumption it might affect the taste, so you might want to try this carefully).Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05786702635908689635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-67350747183582366412009-03-24T16:49:00.000-05:002009-03-24T16:49:00.000-05:00good luck with that... chipmunks are about the mos...good luck with that... chipmunks are about the most clever and resourceful destroyer off all things gardening, birdfeeding, and backyward that I have found.

They generally are too light to trigger even the small sized have-a-heart traps. They have a great sense of smell and no problem burrowing through sealed, thick HDPE containers to get at bird seed in your garage. That is of course after chewing through the rubber foot on your garage door.A. Fischerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11234470633973888456noreply@blogger.com
