Are those fronds or what on the crown outside the foliage point. My corm seems to have been so smooth on the bottom side that it convinced me to put it in up side down. The foliage was getting unidentifiable with spoilage. I Hope it comes back.<br />I will turn it directly.Liberty Felixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00330364017990246660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-303389150098193632012-10-19T12:36:01.838-05:002012-10-19T12:36:01.838-05:00I've transplanted jack in the pulpit and had n...I've transplanted jack in the pulpit and had no issues. They're quite hardy unless you plant them in the wrong place. I had several in my yard that I transplanted from my daughter's yard 1/2 a block away. They were very happy in their new home until we lost the big birch tree that kept them in the shade for most of the day. The next season I lost every one of them. Too hot and sunny. Wish I could get my hands on some of your excess bulbs. I replaced that birch with an alder 4 years ago and that part of my yard is becoming suitable for a shade garden again.Big Boppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05495968705406377160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-44970954484263973932012-10-18T17:15:21.259-05:002012-10-18T17:15:21.259-05:00Looks just like the hosta roots I dig up when tran...Looks just like the hosta roots I dig up when transplanting. Very hardy, even rough transplanting won't kill them. Hope these perform the same! :)Mama Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02850954724339690923noreply@blogger.com
