After the horrible freeze about, gosh, ten years ago, in Mexico that nearly wiped them out, I've been interested in their welfare. Them and bees. Thank you for helping them. Years ago, when I corresponded with Aaron Brown, CNN Anchor, when he hosted the wonderful "NewsNight" ("because we cover the news and it's at night"), I managed to talk him into doing a segment on them. I was gobsmacked because he never let on that he was going to do so. That is how I learned that some of them survived because they were kept warm by the topmost layer of their deceased brethren.
