Why does nearly every cartoon, meme, or video, on the internet, and probably elsewhere, block out the word penis ? Why do they not do the same with words that describe other body parts ?
Are we all 8 year olds laughing at the word penis ? Is THAT why it is blocked ... because we might laugh ?
Or, do you, if you are an adult like me, just read the word for what it is, like a normal person does ?

It's not blocked because you might laugh. It's blocked to cause others to laugh.
