Visually-appealing puréed meals
At the Reddit source there is a relevant discussion thread, including comments by people who have undergone facial reconstruction surgery and other ailments requiring pureed food.
As my Mother in Law's dementia started to really rob her of abilities we had to start to use pureed food to allow her to eat anything. It was a constant effort to make it look good for her.
It's been 2 1/2 weeks since we lost her and I keep telling my wife that, as hard as the last 3 years have been, caring for her will be the best thing I've ever been a part of.
Keith, may your soul be both saved and blessed to have recognized the beauty of treating someone with love and kindness--especially someone who was increasingly unable to repay your acts of humanity.
