It's a shame that it really only works on a phone screen. On a embiggened monitor, you can see the sudden artifacts when the image changes - it is not a smooth transition at 30 fps, but more like one transition every second.
I was on to them. I was a bit confused because of the bookshelves changing. I was just thinking: why did I not see that before? And then the clip was over..... Part of the trick is that it's too fast for your to realize what's happening.
I am intrigued and terrified.

ReplyDeleteThe illusion isn't that things changed, it's that you don't notice that things changed until you are told.
ReplyDeleteI'd seen it before, and knew what to expect, and even then I didn't notice the biggest individual change as I watched.
