  2. I expected to see <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordite" target=">Detroit agate,</a> but I supposed that's more of a gem than a fossil.

  4. I still have fond memories of going to the Ludington/Sleeping Bear Dunes area every summer, and bringing home a sack of petoskey stones and fossils to throw in the tumbler when we got home. I still have a small handful of them in a lockbox to show off when people wonder WTF they are.
