Fake document revealed by its font


"Pakistan's former PM Nawaz Sharif's family had produced documents to prove innocence concerning ownership of properties in London. The docs were signed in 2006 but the Calibri font used in it was released in 2007."  Via.

  1. Forensic examiners do the same kind of thing with ink. They maintain libraries of chemical analyses of inks and can sometimes show that a handwritten signature was made with ink only available in pens sold after the date claimed for the signature.
