Posted because of the clever name, this is one of 38 new foods premiering at the Minnesota State Fair this week. Others include cake-on-a-stick, a cotton-candy float, deep-fried ice cream, and a dill pickle pizza.

"foods premiering" is the key here - many of those foods are commonly sold elsewhere.

Wow, what a set of choices! Almost all the savory foods look good, though I must admit very few of the sweet ones appeal to me (probably just as well). But the Minneapple (there's a word I haven't heard in YEARS) pies look wonderful.
