I just got into a huge argument with my parents over just this. People are hearing a complete alternate reality from organizations like Fox, and any attempt to show them that they're being lied to is automatically rejected because they *want* to believe it. So, no matter how much evidence you offer, it's irrelevant, because they refuse to even accept the concept that they *could* be wrong, because they don't want their worldview tempered with. We're nowhere near the first family that Fox has broken up due to their lies, and I'm sure we won't be the last.
