  2. He obviously had a problem buying regular ties. should have switched to bowties. I recall a seeing a photo of him next to someone suffering from dwarfism.

  3. I grew up in Alton, his hometown, and he's a local legend for many reasons. My late grandmother actually went to high school with him.

  4. I do believe the appropriate term for his condition is "Gigantism" as opposed to acromegaly, which occurs when the same underlying condition (excessive growth hormone) starts or prevails after the growth plates have closed.
