  1. I'm a bit surprised to see "Goetta" in there as a new word. I first learned it on a trip to Cincinnati about fifteen years ago. It was succinctly and accurately described as "Trust me, you don't want one."
    It's already in the OED with usage dating from 1947, but was only added there in 2019.

  2. Fluffernutter? Those were a big thing in like 1965 or so -- I didn't know anyone was even still eating them (I never even wanted to!) At least TBH and FTW are only about 10-20 years old. I guess it takes a while to make it into the dictionary.
