  1. Yeah, they need to work on the "love" part:

    1. "Love" is not deserved by people who are actively disobeying rules and standards that help prevent the spread of a deadly disease. Anyone who behaves in such an anti-social -- or even sociopathic -- manner warrants all the scorn and derision their behavior draws their way.

Nobody gets beaten, shot or dumped in the river with concrete on their legs. That is Staten Island love!

  3. And yet the World Health Organization still says we should only wear masks if sick or caring for someone sick.

    1. Do you notice the DATE on that link you provided there, Mike? It's now well into 2020 and we know a lot more about COVID-19 than we knew when it first showed up. In addition, WHO didn't want less-endangered people to hoard the kind of masks medical professional needed. In addition, there's lots of other information on that site that is also useful -- unless cherry picking is your thing. https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public

    2. Hi Elgie. Sure I saw the date. I just find it interesting their advice is still unchanged.
(Note that I wear a mask in public anyway, in large part to reassure others since people are on edge anyway these days)

I actually started at the link you gave. But it wouldn't make sense as a reference for my statement to include a more general link which doesn't contain the information I am citing. I'm sure you agree with that.

WHO says nothing on their site about not wearing masks in order to allow medical professionals to have access to them, though that it's certainly a theory I considered. Did you find evidence of this reasoning (and fo you have a link to it?) Or was this speculation for you as well?
