it IS a dog! at first glance, i took it for one of those trendy bagels that we have too many of.I-)
I live with Dalmatians and have seen that pose many times, and I salute the photographer. No matter how carefully or slowly I reach for a camera the slightest movement makes them unwind and turn into spotted spring toys.
