I once was involved in a financial transaction that involved a LOT of initialing of official papers. The other three people involved in the transaction all had the initials JB.
Interestingly enough, when I was in Army Aviation, a lot of the pilots would use the first and last letters of their LAST NAME, for initials. So, 'James Smith' would use the initials SH, 'Ann Berlin' would use BN, etc.
No idea why they did that (and I never thought, at the time, to ask).
Jim Bob? Joanne Betty? Jaffar Barack?
