"Embroidered American flag on sleeve"

Apparently totally ignorant of the U.S. Flag code, which states in article 8j:
No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations.
This athletic jersey is offered for sale at the official Donald J. Trump store.

  1. My son’s cub scout jersey has a flag sewn on the sleeve. If the cub scouts are considered a patriotic organization, i think this football jersey could be too. I’m no fan of Trump, but I am not sure this is an egregious violation of protocol.

    1. I agree the Cub Scouts are a patriotic organization and his flag on a uniform would be fine. What organization would the illustrated "football jersey" represent?

  2. But does that code carry weight in China, where most Trump products are made?

  3. Cub scouts are worldwide ?
The movement started in the U.K. well before I appeared on this terror firmer
Don't see how it is patriotic to any western country, but then I am a bit of a slow learner.

  4. THIS is part of the problem. Regardless of how you feel about Trump, there is nothing he can say, do or represent that won't be attacked. There was a meme going around that said if Trump cured cancer, the left would demand to have cancer back. If this had been Obama's web site, everyone would immediately note that Obama probably didn't have anything to do with the web site other than lending his name to it. I know I will suffer wrath for even invoking Obama's name while on the subject of Trump, but the double standard is out of control.
