A middle school-aged child looking at this picture has no idea who Nixon, Woodward, or Bernstein are. I imagine what he/she would notice is the TV. It has a small screen but it is a big boxy thing, it has dials, and it it has to small poles sticking out the top. Kind of like someone of my generation seeing a picture of a family sitting in front of a humongous radio listening to news from the war in Europe.
Also, no cellphones in their hands.
As an aside, I wonder about the reporters' thoughts and emotions as they watch this...
