Treason

“Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile”. - Theodore Roosevelt - editorial in The Kansas City Star, on May 7, 1918

    1. I won't presume to speak for the OP, but personally, yes.

8 years ago, 4 years ago, 12 years ago, 20 years ago.

Beleive it or not, some people actually have moral convictions that they will stand behind MORE than they will devotion to whatever despicable person has an "R" or a "D" next to their name.

Somehow I feel like you're asking this question because you're genuinely surprised that someone else might have consistent beliefs, which says all anyone needs to know about your own.

  3. Your link worked fine, Kolo. I hope anon and others will post their results. It's certainly not a perfect instrument (and may not be valid for non-American participants), but it's as good a tool for the purpose as I've found.

  4. Now go read Mark Twain on Teddy Roosevelt. Replace the name and it sounds like he is talking about Trump.
