A better way to stripe a parking garage


Parking garages - especially underground ones - are famously ill-lit and the stripes on the pavement seldom repainted.  I applaud this simple vertical extension, posted at the Mildly Interesting subreddit,

  1. Oh, I'm going to get nailed for this. In Germany, there are (or at least used to be) parking areas and decks reserved for women, based on the idea that women often do the grocery shopping and/or have kids with them when they go out, and therefore they should get a break on the distance they have to traverse between the parking and the shops to which they want to go.

    Perscheid is a comic artist who has been described as Germany's Larsen. He does one-panel cartoons with a decidedly weird bent.
