I also saw the first episode recently, but unfortunately I really didn't feel it lived up to the hype. In fact, I found myself spending more time watching other channels. I will view the next episode without prejudice.
If, like me, you are a multi-decade consumer of nature programs, then the content of this episode was underwhelming. We've all seen lemurs and Komodo dragons and marine iguanas and sloths before - as far back as George Page's old PBS "Nature" series. The difference in this new one is not the content, but the filming - which is why I posted this video today.
