So, what kind of underwear goes with this dress ?

Not even a conventional thong will work when the dress is slit to the waist.
Options include the C-string, which consists of the front of a thong-style pair of knickers, held up with wire at the back - or the Shibue: a strapless panty held in place using a soft adhesive gel.
Details (including photos of the C-string, Shibue, and other slashed dresses) at the Daily Mail.

  1. The built-in body suit option shown in the article seems the safest to me. Of course, I also study aerial acrobatics, where wardrobe malfunctions are an occupational hazard. Leotards are about the only thing actually guaranteed to keep the essential bits covered. It's like a personal five-point harness for your undies.

  3. For people not familiar with British usage "pants" are underwear in the linked Daily Mail article

  4. I can only surmise they look like Borat's bathing suit.

  5. My guess is no underwear. However, it looks like she has some double-sided tape keeping the front of the dress attached to her body.

  6. Or just don't wear underwear. Isn't that the point of these sexy dresses? To show how daring and sexy the wearer is?

I am often confused about the sudden modesty of people dressed in clothes clearly designed to show as much skin as possible.

There is nothing scandalous about the human body. If you want to show yours of, go ahead.

And please let's get over the whole beaver shot thing. The internet is full of free porn. Go get your fix there instead of from a out-of-focus image from some celebrity.

  7. May I ask, of what interest it is to you? Were you inquiring with the safety of the young lady in mind? If so, please be assured that she is certainly not in danger and seems actually quite happy.
Otherwise, I don't think we need to inquire any further.

  8. I saw a similar outfit being worn by an attendee of an event, last week. One shot of the lady, walking, revealed a G-string-like garment sewn in to the inside of the front (and, I assume, rear) panel. Simple, yet effective.

  9. These couture garments usually have support wear and even panties built into them.
