Colorful weather

Emblematic of recent weather in the Upper Midwest.  There may be a thousand things wrong with the internet, but The Weather Channel isn't one of them.

  1. nice!

it is possible to save the radar loops as gif files, so you can re-view the spectacular weather.

  3. Try the National Weather Service site instead, where you can get the radar loops as gif files.

Here's the big one for the entire country.

    1. Hadn't seen the video, but I saw the weather first-hand. Tried to drive through it. Left home in bright sunshine, 3 minutes later had to pull off Seminole for lack of visibility, then had bright sunshine in five more minutes at Mineral Point. Watched out the window during my meeting there as the weather alternated between February and May. Totally bizarre.
