    1. Yep. They like to roost in trees just like turkeys. There was a study years back where someone cut off the tail feathers from some captive male peacocks and found that they're actually quite capable flyers when they don't have to deal with the massive drag their tails create.

  6. From personal experience on more than one occasion, I can confirm that peafowl are the most evil creatures in the world. With the possible exception of sandhill cranes.
